Amgylchiadau Esgusodol

Mae amgylchiadau esgusodol yn amgylchiadau eithriadol y tu hwnt i'ch rheolaeth sydd wedi'ch rhwystro rhag cyflawni asesiad ar y lefel a ddisgwylir neu rhag ymgymryd â’r asesiad.

Os byddwch ynghanol amgylchiadau anodd, yna rydym yn eich argymell i siarad â'ch arweinydd rhaglen, eich tiwtor personol, â'r Tîm Cyngor a Chyfarwyddyd i Fyfyrwyr neu Undeb y Myfyrwyr.

Mae angen cyflwyno unrhyw gais am amgylchiadau esgusodol cyn pen deg diwrnod gwaith ar ôl y dyddiad cyflwyno neu’r dyddiad arholi a rhaid iddo gael ei ategu gan dystiolaeth o'r amgylchiadau. Dylid ei gyflwyno i'r Ganolfan Rhaglenni Myfyrwyr.

Mae'r ffurflen a'r canllawiau i'ch cynorthwyo i'w chwblhau ar y Porth MyUni.

Dylech nodi, os ydych wedi cael marc am ddarn o waith ac wedyn mae cais AE yn cael ei gymeradwyo, caiff unrhyw farciau a dderbyniwyd ar gyfer y gwaith hwnnw eu canslo a chaiff y marc ei ailosod i 0. Ni fydd hawl gennych i gadw unrhyw farciau rydych wedi'u derbyn am ddarn o waith. Yn lle hynny, byddwch yn cael ailgyflwyno gwaith neu ailsefyll yr arholiad fel pe bai'n gyflwyniad/ymgais gwreiddiol; Felly, os caiff eich cais AE ei dderbyn ar gyfer cynnig cyntaf byddwch yn gallu derbyn marc heb ei gapio. Cofiwch os bydd eich cais AE yn cael ei dderbyn ar gyfer ail/trydydd, bydd eich marc yn parhau i fod yn 40 ond bydd y cynnig wedi'i diogelu.

Os oes gennych gyflwr hirdymor, efallai y byddai'n fwy addas gweithio gyda'ch Tîm Rhaglen i ddatblygu Cynllun Dysgu. Dyddiadau cau’r Brifysgol ar gyfer cynlluniau dysgu yw:

·         Ar gyfer rhaglenni dros ddau semester: Dydd Gwener 11 Ionawr 2019

·         Ar gyfer rhaglenni trimis, trac cyflym ac ôl-raddedig: Dydd Gwener 10 Mai 2019

Os bydd gennych unrhyw anghenion unigol ar gyfer arholiadau, dylech gofio fod y rhain dibynnu ar asesiad anghenion myfyrwyr. Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer derbyn unrhyw newidiadau y gwneir cais amdanynt ar gyfer arholiadau Ionawr 2019 yw 7 December 2017. I gael rhagor o wybodaeth dylech gysylltu â Thîm Cynhwysiant y Brifysgol, inclusion@glyndwr.ac.uk

I gael rhagor o wybodaeth am y polisi a'r weithdrefn a'r cynlluniau dysgu, cysylltwch â CMRh drwy e-bost spc@glyndwr.ac.uk  neu assessments@glyndwr.ac.uk. Mae cymorth ac arweiniad ar gwblhau'r ffurflenni a'r safonau tystiolaethol ar gael gan Undeb y Myfyrwyr.

Cofiwch y dylai myfyrwyr fod yn ymwybodol o'r canllawiau a ddarperir ar y weithdrefn sydd ar gael ar y Porth MyUni o’r ddolen ganlynol:

Extenuating Circumstances

Extenuating circumstances are exceptional circumstances outside your control which have prevented you from performing in assessment at the level expected or from undertaking the assessment.

If you are experiencing difficult circumstances then we recommend you speak to your Programme Leader, Personal Tutor, the Student Advice & Guidance team or the Students’ Union.

Any extenuating circumstances claim needs to be submitted within ten working days of the date of submission or examination and must be supported by evidence of the extenuating circumstance. It should be submitted to the Student & Programmes Centre.

The form and guidance notes to help with its completion can be found on MyUni Portal.

Please be advised that, if you have received a mark for a piece of work and subsequently have an EC claim approved, any marks received for that work will be cancelled and the mark will be reset to 0. You will not be permitted to keep any marks you have received for a piece of work. Instead, you will be allowed to resubmit work or resit the examination as if it was the original submission/attempt; therefore if you have ECs accepted for a first attempt you will be able to receive an uncapped mark. Please note that if you have ECs accepted for a second/third attempt, your mark will still be capped at 40 but the attempt will have been protected.

If you have a long term condition, it may be more suitable to work with your Programme Team to develop a Learning Plan. The University deadlines for Learning Plans are:

·         For two semester programmes: Friday 11 January 2019

·         For trimester, fast track and PG programmes: Friday 10 May 2019

If you have any individual needs requirements for examinations, please be advised that these are dependent upon students’ assessment of needs. The deadline for the receipt of any requested amendments for the January 2019 exams is 7 December 2017. For further information you should contact the University’s Inclusion Team, inclusion@glyndwr.ac.uk

For further information regarding the policy and procedure and learning plans, please contact SPC by email spc@glyndwr.ac.uk  or assessments@glyndwr.ac.uk. Support and guidance on completion of the forms and evidential standards is available from the Students’ Union.

Please note that students should make themselves aware of guidance provided on the procedure which can be accessed from the MyUni Portal from the following link:
