Extenuating Circumstances

What you need to know about extenuating circumstances:

Extenuating circumstances are exceptional circumstances outside your control which have prevented you from performing in assessment at the level expected or from undertaking the assessment.

If you find yourself in this situation, you need to take action as quickly as possible in order to comply with deadlines.

Any extenuating circumstances claim needs to be submitted within ten working days of the date of submission or examination and must be supported by evidence of the extenuating circumstance. It should be submitted to the appropriate School Office.
